HOW CAN YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
BECOME A MENTOR
Our greatest resources are our volunteers. You can make a positive difference - not just in an individual's life, but in the Buffalo community.
WHAT IS A MENTOR?
A mentor is someone who inspires, teaches, and sets an example. A mentor is a motivator and a resource. A mentor is a pillar of support, a listening ear, and a friend.
WHO WOULD I BE WORKING WITH?
Mentors can choose to work with the Youth or Re-Entry division. They are paired with individuals based on personality, interests, and goals.
WHAT ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES DOES A MENTOR HAVE?
Mentors must meet regularly with their mentees as well as attend the introductory training workshop.
Please email one of our coordinators if you would like to be a part of the M.A.N. Program.
DONATE
The M.A.N. program operates out of donated space. Even this website was created and donated by a volunteer. All other resources, including field trips for our mentees, classroom activities, and mentor workshops, come from your generous support. All donations are tax-deductible, as we operate under the direction of the Coalition for Parole Restoration, a registered 501(c)(3).
